A Stellar Victory for Young Soccer Star Addison W.
We are thrilled to celebrate Addison W., a soon-to-be 5th grader, who has recently achieved an extraordinary milestone by winning the prestigious 33rd Aloha International Cup with the Lady Wolves of AYSO South Los Angeles (SLA) 1031.
Addison and her team demonstrated exceptional skill and determination, finishing the tournament with an impressive 59-1 record, after an already stellar 55-1 season leading up to the event. Impact of the IAFE Soccer Program
Our partnership with AYSO Region 1031 is integral to our after-school soccer enrichment program, providing expert coaching and opportunities for our participants to excel. In turn, IAFE sponsors our students to join AYSO 1031 and showcase their talents on a broader stage.
Beyond her accomplishments on the field, Addison is a multi-talented student at Transfiguration School. She excels in track and volleyball, maintains honor roll status, and contributes to her school community as a choir member and student ambassador.
During the championship, the Lady Wolves achieved four wins with no losses, and Addison played a pivotal role by scoring six goals. Her dedication and performance earned her and her team appearances on major local news channels, highlighting their success and dedication.
Addison’s IAFE coaches commend her as a natural leader who exemplifies the core values of SUCCESS. Her achievements are a testament to her hard work and the supportive environment provided by our after-school soccer program.
IAFE United focuses on creating opportunities for youth through high-quality after-school programs, integrating sports like soccer and golf with life skills education. This approach aims to build self-confidence, resilience, and academic achievement among students. We believe in empowering students to achieve their full potential and make a positive impact on their communities through the IAFE soccer program.
