Guiding Families Through Mental Health Challenges

IAFE United’s Mental Health Program is dedicated to supporting the emotional and psychological well-being of teens and young adults. As part of our commitment to the whole child, this program empowers families with trusted guidance, practical resources, and direct access to professional support when it matters most.

Through a partnership with Scoot Over, a nonprofit mental health resource administered by IAFE United, families are connected with experienced clinicians, interventionists, and care professionals who help create a clear, personalized path forward. Support includes confidential crisis connections for urgent situations, early-intervention tools to recognize and address mental health concerns before they escalate, and educational resources that promote awareness and reduce stigma. The program also advocates for improved access to care, offers partial financial assistance for evaluations and stabilization when needed, and invests in the future of mental health by supporting the training and development of therapists, crisis counselors, and case managers.

Program Benefits Include

  • Crisis response and stabilization
  • Early intervention and prevention
  • Empowered families with tools and knowledge
  • Reduced stigma through education and advocacy

  • Expanded access to mental health care
  • Long-term impact through workforce investment
